The vivo V27 series is now official, and three smartphones—the vivo V27 Pro, vivo V27, and vivo V27e—have been unveiled. The three phones all have top-tier cameras and outstanding portrait capabilities, but most importantly, they are all going to be sold for less than $500. There is only one significant difference between these two phones, and that is the Mediatek processor. The Dimensity 8200, a competent 4nm platform with a 3.1GHz CPU for nearly premium smartphones, is installed in the Pro. The standard model is powered by a Dimensity 7200, which is likewise manufactured using a 4nm technology. However, the fastest CPU cores are only clocked at 2.8GHz, and the GPU is still the Mali-G610.
Here are all the specs these two phones have in common after we address the differences. They have a 6.78″ AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz and Full HD+ resolution thanks to Vivo. The most notable component of both gadgets is the camera configuration. The 50 MP primary camera of the vivo V27 Pro and vivo V27 has a unique Sony IMX766V sensor, an f/1.8 aperture, with OIS. A 2 MP macro camera and an 8 MP ultra-wide camera are the other two cameras on the rear. Right close to the top lens is a ring LED flash as well. The 50 MP with AF front-facing camera, which is hidden by a punch hole, is equally noteworthy. Real-Time Extreme Night Vision, Super Night Video, and so-called Hybrid Image Stabilization, which automatically corrects shakiness in movies, are just a few of the software upgrades Vivo has added to the phones to make them more picture and video-friendly. The software is Funtouch OS 13, which is based on Android 13. The phones also feature Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 2.4GHz/5GHz while vivo V27 Pro goes with additional 6GHz, and dual-mode 5G on both SA and NSA networks.
The 4,600mAh battery with 66W rapid charging is connected to the USB-C port on the bottom of both the standard and Pro models. Although the 182g bodies of the two phones are identical, the Pro model only comes in the Magic Blue color, which changes color when exposed to sunlight or other UV light, or the standard Noble Black color, while the vanilla model is also available in Emerald Green and Flowing Gold.
The vivo V27e is designed for areas without 5G networks because it only has an LTE-capable Mediatek Helio G99 processor. The three cameras on the rear of the V27e are arranged vertically and are almost identical, however their combination is 64 MP main with OIS + 2 MP bokeh + 2 MP macro. The selfie camera has a fixed focus and is 32 MP. The flat screen and flat edges of the vivo V27e set it apart from the other two phones. A 120Hz refresh rate is supported by the 6.62″ AMOLED display. RAM is 8GB and storage is 128GB; the Extended RAM function in the Settings menu allows for an additional 8GB of RAM. This phone has taken the Funtouch OS 13, which is based on Android 13, and the 4,600mAh battery with 66W quick charging from its more powerful brothers. Its base is just 7.7mm thick, which is incredibly tiny.

Conclusion
Whether the vivo V27 Pro has a color-changing (blue) back or not (black model), it is a superb smartphone with a really appealing design. The phone’s OLED display is good and smooth, and its performance and stability were outstanding. It is good that the vivo V27 Pro has a long battery life and charges quickly. But the primary camera’s excellent photo and video quality (2x lossless zoom) and the striking selfies are what will stick in our memories. The vivo V27 Pro has the potential to become a fan favorite photography phone on a budget because few mid-rangers provide as high-quality pictures. The vivo V27 pro is not flawless, and neither is any smartphone. The stereo speakers and video stabilization for the 4K selfie videos are the most glaring omissions, which is such a waste! We would have also valued some kind of entry security. We still consider the vivo V27 Pro to be one of the most competent mid-range smartphones available, excellent for both gaming and photography, despite these exclusions. We strongly advise you to consider the phone as your daily driver if it is offered in your market because it is one of the greatest all-around offers in its price range.
The V27 has a lot going for it – the fancy color-changing back and slim waistline do a fine job of distracting you from all the goodness that’s inside. One of the brightest displays in the midrange is among those strong points, and the great battery life is indeed at odds with the thin body. Partially responsible for the longevity is the frugal chipset that’s also better than key competitors at most tasks – if not quite as powerful as the Pro’s. The speaker is the most aggravating mistake; virtually all rivals at this price bracket have stereo systems, but the V27 just has one speaker, and it is a subpar one at that. Another flaw in an otherwise complete kit is the absence of ingress protection. The vivo V27 is a premium midranger that, in our opinion, is worth the cost. Future “e” versions should include 5G compatibility and 4K video recording capabilities, among other enhancements. We hope that Vivo can accomplish it the next year.
