The Nubia Red Magic 9 Pro, which made its debut in China last month, is now available in global markets. This smartphone boasts a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and a distinctive design—flat on all sides, without curved screens or camera bumps, with aluminum sides maintaining the same flat profile. Paired with the latest Qualcomm chipset, the device offers 12GB or 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, and global units provide storage options of 256GB or 512GB. Enhancing performance, the phone features a cooling system covering over 10,000sq. mm for effective temperature management. The Red Magic 9 Pro also incorporates a larger air duct and a faster fan, capable of reaching up to 22,000RPM.
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the phone’s 50MP main camera, accompanied by a 50MP ultrawide-angle shooter and a basic 2MP macro lens. Catering to gamers, the device includes pressure-sensitive shoulder triggers and a dedicated slider control to activate the gaming mode of the RedMagic OS 9, based on Android 14. Powering the phone is a robust 6,500mAh battery with 80W wired charging. The Nubia Red Magic 9 Pro is available in three colors and two versions, with the Sleet (Black) variant offering 12/256GB storage.
